Description
As a United Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be an ambassador of our brand and a provider of exceptional customer service. You will ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers while enhancing their travel experience. This role requires adaptability, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to remain poised under pressure.
Responsibilities
– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight.
– Greet passengers, assist with seating, and provide an overview of aircraft safety procedures.
– Serve beverages and meals and sell on-board products.
– Address passengers inquiries and concerns with a professional demeanor.
– Provide special assistance to passengers, such as small children, the elderly, or those with disabilities.
– Administer and coordinate emergency procedures or provide first aid when needed.
– Prepare accurate reports concerning any significant flight events.
Requirements
– Minimum age of 18 years.
– Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
– Ability to pass a rigorous background check and drug test.
– Capable of meeting our attendance standards and working flexible hours, which includes weekends and holidays.
– Fluent in English; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
– Able to reach overhead bins and lift standard bags without assistance.
– Comfortable working within the confined spaces of an aircraft and able to stand for extended periods.
