Southwest Airlines is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented flight attendants to join our dynamic team. No prior experience in aviation is required as comprehensive training will be provided. This role offers both full-time and flexible part-time shifts, ensuring our flight attendants can achieve a balanced work-life schedule. ### Job Description
As a Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be the face of our airline, providing high-quality customer service, and ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers throughout the flight. This role requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to safety.
### Responsibilities
– Perform pre-flight cabin checks and ensure all safety equipment is ready and functional.
– Greet passengers as they board and exit the plane.
– Help passengers to stow their carry-on luggage safely.
– Conduct safety demonstrations before the flight and ensure passengers comply with all flight regulations.
– Provide food, beverages, and assistance throughout the flight.
– Manage in-flight sales and services.
– Assist passengers and fellow crew members during emergencies.
– Complete post-flight duties including cabin checks and reporting.
### Requirements
– Aged 21 or over.
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
– Flexible availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
– Ability to reach overhead bins and fulfill physical requirements of the job including standing for long periods and handling moderate weight objects.
– Strong verbal communication skills.
