Remote Business Analyst​/POS Retail

Position: Remote Business Analyst (POS Retail) Join to apply for the Remote Business Analyst (POS Retail) role at Scion Staffing. Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for a Remote Business Analyst Retail POS on behalf of our client, a growing and innovative retail technology company. This is a fully remote, direct-hire opportunity available to candidates located within the United States. Occasional travel may be required. Position Overview: The Business Analyst Retail POS will serve as a critical member of the product and engineering team, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-impact Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions. This individual will play a key role in optimizing POS features across in-store, mobile, and online channels, helping to ensure a seamless customer experience and consistent operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, retail POS system experience, and a deep understanding of QSR or retail operations. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in or with top QSR chains or leading POS vendors. Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business and technical requirements
• Create user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Support development and QA teams through Agile sprints
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, demos, and feedback loops
• Identify project dependencies and help resolve blockers
• Recommend enhancements to core POS features and workflows
• Ensure alignment with compliance, reconciliation, and integration needs

What You Bring:

• 24+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Lead in Retail POS
• Experience at QSR chains or POS vendors such as Chick-Fil-A, Starbucks, Chipotle, Toast, Lightspeed, Square, or similar
• Strong understanding of POS workflows including sales, returns, inventory, pricing, loyalty, and reconciliation
• Proven ability to gather and document requirements, create user stories, and manage cross-functional collaboration
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum using JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving tech environment
