Senior Risk Consultant – Risk Advisory

Are you an experienced risk consultant with leadership skills and a strong background in property risk assessment, fire safety, or business continuity planning?

Marsh Sweden is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Risk Consultant – Risk Advisory to join our Nordic Risk Advisory team in Stockholm. In this role, you will lead risk consulting engagements, manage client relationships, and provide strategic guidance on property risk evaluations, business interruption assessments, and loss prevention strategies. You will also mentor junior consultants and contribute to the overall development of our risk advisory practice.

What You Will Do

Lead and manage risk consulting projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients.

• Conduct on-site risk assessments for clients, evaluating property risks, fire protection, and business operations from an insurance perspective.

• Perform business impact analyses to assess financial exposures and develop business continuity plans.

• Provide strategic risk mitigation and loss prevention advice to clients across various industries.

Mentor and develop junior consultants, sharing expertise and best practices.

Collaborate with internal teams (including brokers and underwriters) to present risk information and secure appropriate coverage for clients.

• Represent Marsh in client meetings, industry events, and conferences.

• Travel across the Nordic region and occasionally abroad to visit client sites.

What You Need to Have

• 10+ years of experience in risk consulting, property insurance, fire safety, or business continuity planning.

Proven leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring or managing consultants.

• Strong understanding of property risk management, business interruption exposures, and insurance principles.

• Background in insurance broking, engineering consultancy, fire safety consultancy, or corporate risk management.

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to write structured, insightful risk reports.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Fluency in English (Nordic language skills are a plus).

Willingness to travel within the Nordics and sometimes out of the Nordics.
