Job Title: Specialist II, Revenue Accounting - American Airlines Data Entry Specialist (Remote, Florida) - $28/Hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Specialist II, Revenue Accounting to join our team at American Airlines. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in performing essential accounting functions within our Revenue Accounting department. • Perform fundamental accounting functions, including reviewing accounting data, processing refund claims, and updating journal vouchers
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner, including communication with external contacts as necessary
• Complete data entry of accounting information with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Modify and review daily passenger ticket and ancillary refund requests
• Distribute and store month-end closing statistics reports
• Perform various tasks and ad-hoc activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager to support the department's/organization's achievement of goals and business objectives

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalency required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field preferred
• Aircraft/travel industry accounting experience is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and systems
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Intelligent and analytical ability to reason and problem-solve
