About the position

As a Trainer (Virtual) with Parallon, you will play a crucial role in delivering educational programs for all staff members within the organization. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about training and development, and who can apply adult learning concepts effectively in a virtual environment. You will be responsible for teaching classes, assisting other instructors, and utilizing standardized courses and evaluation processes to ensure the highest quality of training delivery. Your role will also involve conducting ongoing training for existing staff, which includes essential topics such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and other applicable laws. In addition to delivering training, you will gather and log documentation of training completion as required, conduct basic telephone debt collector training, and assist in performing an annual education needs assessment that contributes to the strategic education program. You will utilize a training database to track competencies and skills for all Parallon staff, providing training reports to managers and directors as needed. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to develop, design, and produce training materials tailored to the needs of the organization. This position requires a proactive approach to training and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Deliver educational programs for all staff members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Training and Development preferred, or equivalent work experience may substitute degree preference.
  • ,
  • Minimum 1-3 years of training experience.
  • ,
  • 3+ years of Business Office, Healthcare, and/or Training experience.
  • ,
  • Management experience is a plus.
  • ,
  • Training administration and/or development experience is a plus.
  • ,
  • Strong facilitation skills are required.
  • ,
  • Experience with EHR/HIS systems, specifically Meditech.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare training environments.
