Here, you will make an impact by:

• Performing equipment set-up, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Performing daily inspections on forklifts as well as daily operation of forklifts
• Maintaining and keep work area clean.
• Following all safety procedures
• Performing other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Your Skills and Expertise:To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Required:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• One (1) year of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Ability to work any shift available, including, but not limited to first, second, or third.
• Willingness to work overtime and possible weekends; short notice shift coverage.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Ability to work well in a team environment, being adaptable and flexible.
• Ability to operate forklifts or PIV’s.
• Experience in Welding
