Accurately transcribe and document patient pathology reports in a timely manner. Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of transcribed reports. Collaborate with the pathology team to ensure all reports are completed and filed in a timely manner. Utilize proper medical terminology and adhere to established formatting and style guidelines. Review transcribed reports for errors and make necessary corrections. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and any changes in transcription guidelines. Ensure the confidentiality and security of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding any discrepancies or missing information. Maintain organization and proper filing of all transcribed reports. Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of transcribed reports. Continuously strive to improve transcription processes and procedures. Remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities and workload. Attend training sessions and stay current on new technologies and software related to pathology transcription.
