NURSE PRACTITIONER (NPs)

Full-time NURSE PRACTITIONER (NPs) needed. In this position, you will be a Nurse Practitioner and in charge of providing patients of all ages with complete primary healthcare services in our outpatient clinic. In order to deliver patient-centered treatment, encourage health maintenance, and manage both acute and chronic health issues, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Schedule: Full Time RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic test as complete blood counts (CBC?s), electrocardiograms (EKG?s), and radiographs ( x-rays). ? Analyze and interpret patients? history, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. ? Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines. ? Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, and injuries. ? Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized. ? Recommend interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks. ? Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients? individual circumstances. ? Evaluation of an employee?s medical or psychological condition is already in question. ? Understand Electronic Health Record, utilize it to its fullest capabilities, and have the record complete within policy regulations. ? Prescribe medication dosage, routes, and frequencies based on patients? characteristics. Skills & Qualifications ? Current certificate as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the NYSED ? Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA). ? A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse issued by the New York State Department of Education (NYSED) Pay and Benefits: ?
