Intern, Emission Certification & Compliance Engineer - Summer 2025

This is a full-time internship position for our Summer Rotation, from June 2, 2025 through August 22, 2025 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. This Intern will work alongside BMW Emission Certification & Compliance Engineers on vehicle homologation and compliance reporting topics. WHAT AWAITS YOU: ? Assist the supervising engineer with various fleet compliance reporting tasks. ? Develop improvements to the current data analysis processes used by the team in their respective subject areas. ? Work with team members to learn more about certification and compliance responsibilities. ? Competitive benchmarking of other OEM certification documents and publicly available data to update a report on battery electric vehicle insights for model year 2024 ? 2025. ? Improvement projects to implement/update Macros in existing certification staff files. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: ? Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master?s degree program at an accredited college or university? ? Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major) ? Have completed at least 60 college credits or be at least a rising Junior ? Field of study: Engineering ? Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript ? Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week) ? Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only) WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO: ? Medical Insurance ? Intern Vehicle Lease Program The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $29.90 The hourly rate for Graduate students is $36.80 The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate.
