Job Details Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Head of IT for our retail division who is fluent in Mandarin. This is a pivotal role that will lead the strategic and operational implementation of our IT infrastructure, ensuring our systems are robust, secure, and capable of supporting our global retail operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT services within the retail industry, with a focus on VPN, Palo Alto Firewalls, incorporating Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and Cisco Meraki VPN. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a must for this role. Responsibilities ? Lead the IT department in the design, development, and implementation of IT strategies and systems that align with the company's business objectives. ? Oversee all technology operations (e.g., network security) and evaluate them according to established goals. ? Develop, implement, and monitor IT systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, legal and regulatory compliance. ? Manage and optimize the use of VPN, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco Meraki VPN. ? Incorporate Software-Defined Networking (SDN) to improve efficiency and flexibility. ? Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers. ? Act as the main point of contact for all IT-related matters, providing guidance and leadership to the IT team. ? Communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and third parties in both English and Mandarin. Qualifications ? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree will be an added advantage. ? Proven experience as a Head of IT, IT Director, or similar leadership role within the retail industry. ? In-depth understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunication, data centers, and other technological aspects. ? Proficiency in managing VPN, Palo Alto Firewalls, incorporating Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and Cisco Meraki VPN. ? Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage large, complex projects in a high-paced environment. ? Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin. ? Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. ? Ability to travel as necessary to meet business needs. ?
