• Type of Employment: Full-Time, Temporary
• Compensation: $19-20 per hour, pays every Thursday
• Weekly Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Expected Start date: Immediately

Job Description

We are looking for a General Maintenance Technician for our multi-family property. The Maintenance Technician will assist with the overall maintenance functions of the property, including repairs and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures, structural facilities, and grounds of the property. Responsibilities:

• Replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc.
• Perform light plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance maintenance
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
• Perform necessary manual repairs, such as fix locks, replace windows etc.
• General upkeep of property, e.g. landscaping, painting, carpentry, drywall, etc.

Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience as maintenance technician preferred
• Basic skills in electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass criminal background check
