About the position We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organization. This part-time position offers competitive pay and the opportunity for growth as the company expands. Responsibilities • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions , • Maintain the general ledger and perform general ledger accounting tasks , • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements , • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes , • Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies , • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions , • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations , • Assist with tax preparation and filing , • Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks , • Perform 10-key typing for data entry purposes Requirements • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices , • Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage or Quicken , • Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus , • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping , • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies , • Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles , • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations effectively , • Proficient in using 10-key typing for data entry purposes Nice-to-haves Benefits • Food provided , • Work from home , • Growth opportunities Apply Job!
