Full-Time Online Piano Teacher - Reeder Music Academy
About the Position Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional online piano instructor to teach full-time at Reeder Music Academy in Danville, CA. We are looking for a teacher who will instruct virtually via Zoom, preferably with experience teaching online. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. This position will inherit students from a departing teacher with the following schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 3-9PM, Tuesdays 4:30-9PM and Saturdays 9AM-5PM in Pacific Time Zone. Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Experience preparing students for Certificate of Merit exams is required. Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $35-$40/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job, and teachers who average 30 hours or more per week (full-time) are eligible for our Health/Vision/Dental offerings.
