Amazon Fulfillment Center Warehouse Associate in Phoenix
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment based on customer orders while adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by conducting regular counts and audits, reporting discrepancies, and ensuring proper storage of goods.
- Material Handling: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor systems to transport products within the fulfillment center.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, inventory, or equipment malfunctions promptly and effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet or exceed performance goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in order processing and inventory management.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in various environmental conditions and adjust to shifting priorities.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is advantageous but not mandatory. We provide comprehensive training to help you succeed in this position.
Working Hours:
- Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including days, evenings, and weekends. Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed is required.
