Compensation and Benefits • Minimum Salary: $94,600.00 • Maximum Salary: $218,700.00 • Total Direct Compensation philosophy that includes base salary, bonus, and equity value. • Location-based compensation structure. Skills • 5+ years in the Telecommunications industry, either with a carrier or managing carriers. • 3+ years of experience with enterprise-level companies. • Deep understanding of SIP, RTP, RTCP, TLS, SRTP, and related technologies. • Familiarity with TCP handshake, Wireshark, packet capture, and SIP call flows. • Understanding of various SBC platforms and telephony software (e.g., FreeSwitch, Ribbon SBC, PSX, OpenSIP). • Proficiency in voice quality metrics such as packet loss, jitter, MoS, QoS. • Strong knowledge of BGP network routing protocol and VoIP architectures. • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Kentik, Linux, and Networking protocols. • Experience with monitoring/scripting tools such as ELK, Grafana, Splunk is a plus. Responsibilities • Support Zoom’s SIP-based products and global carrier services. • Collaborate with Carrier Ops, DevOps, and Networking teams for deploying and testing carrier trunks. • Work with Solution Engineers, Customers, and Engineering teams to design and implement SIP Connected Audio (SCA) solutions. • Act as Tier-3 support for carrier connectivity issues. • Lead troubleshooting and escalation efforts with service providers. • Initiate and implement product enhancements to improve routing efficiency and service reliability. • Design and implement monitoring systems for trunk status and utilization. • Build real-time monitors to detect carrier issues and analyze trends. • Manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. • Follow operational processes and take rotational on-call work. Qualifications • 5+ years of relevant experience in the telecommunications field. • Proven ability to manage and work with enterprise-level companies. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Education Requirements Credential Category • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications. • Experience working with SIP and VoIP technologies.
