Company Overview: We are partnering with a large e-commerce client, seeking a talented and experienced Senior Front-end Engineer. This role is crucial for guiding a development team and setting up best practices for implementing new product features. Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer with strong leadership and mentorship skills to join our team. This position requires an experienced engineer who excels in both technical expertise and team leadership. You will be responsible for driving the development team, ensuring high-quality code, and establishing a solid process and architecture for the project. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and Guide: Serve as a leader for the development team, helping to break down tasks, assign work, and guide the team through the development process. • Technical Expertise: Utilize your strong React and Node.js skills to set best practices for creating new Product Detail Pages for a major e-commerce client, ensuring a high-quality... user experience. • Mentorship: Provide mentorship to junior developers, conducting PR code reviews, and helping the team grow in their skills. • UX Focus: Act as a UX wizard, setting up the best practices for design and animations on the product detail pages. • Process and Architecture: Establish a robust process and architecture for the team, setting a strong foundation for future work and adherence. • Hands-on Coding: Balance your time between mentoring/reviewing and hands-on coding, roughly 50/50 split. • Drive Progress: Be a strong driver of progress, creating order and processes for the development team to follow and ensuring the project meets its goals. Requirements • Experience: 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong background in React and Node.js. • Leadership: Proven experience in leading a development team and mentoring junior developers. • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of UX/UI best practices, animations, and front-end architecture. • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with a remote team. • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create order and processes in a fast-paced environment. • Location: Must be located in LATAM.
