The Global Buying Tools Solution Delivery team develop the software and systems that support TJX’s world class buying organization. This role leverages your experience with .NET Core and Test-Driven-Development (TDD) to deliver our next generation of software in a scalable, security-minded environment. Our team is looking for people with a passion for technology, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to try new things to drive better solutions and get results. We want creative people that are familiar with the challenges of designing, developing, and deploying software in the cloud, especially Microsoft Azure, as we continue to modernize our business for decades to come. As a Staff Engineer at TJX, you will be accountable for the design, implementation, and support of one of our portfolio products in the Buying program. We are looking for a great engineer ready to collaborate on our efforts in areas ranging from coding best practices to hands-on delivery of a globally-distributed, high-uptime application. Minimum Qualifications • 8 years of experience and progressive responsibility in .NET software engineering. • Experience in agile software development, TDD, and continuous improvement concepts. • Comfort providing analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of and experience with cloud-delivered software and best practices, especially Azure. • Ability to work in distributed teams and mentor other engineers. • Experience with security & compliance practices is a plus. • Open to full remote, Eastern Time Zone preferred.
