Job Description

As a United Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be the face of our airline, ensuring passengers have a pleasant and safe journey while upholding the highest standards of customer service and safety compliance. You will provide personal services to ensure the safety and comfort of airline passengers during flight, greet passengers, verify tickets, explain the use of safety equipment, and serve food or beverages.

Responsibilities

– Ensure passengers’ safety and comfort at all times

– Demonstrate emergency and safety procedures such as the use of oxygen masks, seat belts, and exit doors

– Offer information and support to passengers, resolve their concerns and celebrate their occasions when applicable

– Serve snacks, beverages, meals, and sell onboard products

– Attend pre-flight briefings and study all details of the flight

– Lead passengers in case of emergency and give first aid to passengers if needed

– Prepare accurate reports at the end of the flight covering incidents and inventory

Requirements

– Minimum age of 21 years

– High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus

– Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage

– Ability to relocate as necessary

– Must be able to pass a rigorous physical and background check

– Customer service or hospitality experience preferred

– Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a friendly personality

– Capability to remain calm and efficient in critical situations

Educational Qualifications

– High School Diploma or equivalent required

– Further certifications in hospitality or customer service are advantageous

Experience

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation is preferred but not required. Training is provided to all new hires.
