The Global Marketing & Value Market (GMNP) Team Is Responsible For Revenue From The Discount Business, One Of American Express' Largest Revenue Sources. The Team Uses Merchant Pricing To Drive Adoption And Scale The Program, Increase Supplier Satisfaction, And Drive Revenue And Profit For Global Merchant Network Services (GMNS). The Senior Assistant Will Report To The Vice President, of Global Market Value, United States, And Will Be Responsible For Providing Administrative Support And Assistance To The Vice President, United States, And NCG/RCCG/MA& SE. This Role Also Interacts With Senior Management Of The American Express Organization. The Project Manager Must Be An Independent Thinker, Motivated, Reliable, Collaborative, and Able To Work With Senior Management.

Key Responsibilities

Include: • Organize, Confirm, And Manage Appointments, Manage All Kinds Of Stressful Meetings And Associated Transportation. Make, Receive, And Manage A High Volume Of Phone Calls And Emails. • Plan And Manage Complete Travel Arrangements For International And Domestic Travel, Including Flights, Hotels And Ground Transportation. Coordinate Necessary Passport/Visa Documents. Perform General Tasks, Including But Not Limited To Preparing Newsletters, Organizing Documents, Researching Rfis, Filing, And Preparing Pre-Interview Materials For Exams. • Prepare Travel And Time Management Reports. Use Caution When Handling Sensitive And Confidential Information. • Develop And Execute Staff Communications, Including But Not Limited To Scheduling Town Halls, Memos And Phone Calls. Other Duties And Responsibilities Upon Request. Eligibility • Ability To Effectively Manage Multiple Tasks While Meeting Deadlines. • Must Be a Self-Starter With Approval And Prior Experience. • Bilingual With Ability To Speak Spanish (Preferred) • Demonstrate The Ability To Make Good Decisions and be Independent And Resourceful. Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Influence All Levels Of The Organization. • Must Have Good Interpersonal Skills, Attention To Detail, And Ability To Remain Calm Under Pressure. Demonstrated Personal Excellence And Strong Work Ethic With A Desire To Win. • Familiarity With The Use And Application Of American Express Systems And Procedures Is Preferred.
