[Remote] Business Development Representative - Local Sales

They are seeking a Business Development Representative to prospect and generate new sales opportunities specifically within the funeral home industry, helping these businesses enhance their community connections through obituary marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting (100–120 phone calls per day) to funeral home businesses
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and set appointments with decision-makers
  • Develop a working knowledge of the funeral home industry and local market dynamics
  • Clearly articulate and understand the value of LocaliQ’s Obituary audience, rate programs, and technology solutions for obituary placement
  • Accurately document activity, notes, and outcomes in CRM tools

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Previous experience demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed expectations
