Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced audio editing, mixing, and mastering to produce high-quality podcast episodes.
• Implement noise reduction, equalization, compression, and other audio enhancement techniques.
• Integrate music, sound effects, and voice-overs to create a rich and engaging sonic experience.
• Manage the end-to-end podcast publishing process, including uploading and scheduling episodes.
• Write compelling and SEO-optimized show notes, episode titles, and descriptions.
• Ensure consistent audio quality and brand voice across all podcast series.
• Monitor RSS feeds and troubleshoot any distribution issues across platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software, and best practices in podcasting.
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to align on editorial calendars and promotional strategies.
• Provide constructive feedback on audio recording quality and best practices to hosts/guests.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in audio editing and podcast production.
• Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or Reaper.
• Strong understanding of audio engineering principles (mixing, mastering, dynamics processing).
• Experience with podcast hosting platforms (e.g., Libsyn, Buzzsprout, Acast).
