[Remote] Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, managing key accounting processes, and collaborating with various teams to enhance financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed variance analyses
• Own critical balance sheet and P&L areas, such as revenue, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, or payroll accounting
• Support annual financial statement audits, tax filings, and compliance deliverables
• Partner with FP&A, Operations, and other teams to ensure financial information is complete, accurate, and consistent
• Identify opportunities to automate or streamline accounting processes and drive operational excellence

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–6+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and private industry
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, billing processes, and accounting operations
• Hands-on experience with Maxio (or comparable system) for revenue, billing, or subscription management is required
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
• Experience with modern ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a plus
