[Remote] Data Scientist – Automation and Ecological Data Analysis (5165)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bennett Aerospace Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to develop automation frameworks and analytical models for ecological field data. The role involves designing, testing, and implementing algorithms to streamline functional assessments and ensure consistent outputs across various geographic regions.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms and automated workflows to process field-collected ecological data
• Build data pipelines and scripts in R, Python, or equivalent tools to support reproducible analysis
• Ensure automation tools generate consistent, defensible outputs for wetland functional assessments
• Conduct verification and validation using test datasets and iterative refinement
• Deliver technical documentation, user guides, and reports to support tool deployment and peer review

Skills

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
• 5–10 years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and automation workflows
• Proficiency in R, Python, and statistical modeling techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to translate complex data into decision-support products
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government Clearance if required
• Background check
• Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance
• Successful Pass of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check
• Experience working with ecological, environmental, or engineering datasets
