Case Manager, RN, Clinical Documentation - Remote (Contract)

Job Summary A Hospital client based out of Massachusetts has a REMOTE CONTRACT opportunity for a Case Manager, RN, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Specialist. The Case Manager, RN, CDS is responsible for reviewing medical records to facilitate the accurate representation of the severity of illness by improving the quality of the physicians’ clinical documentation. Qualifications for Case Manager, RN, CDS:
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) - REQUIRED
- Graduation from a program of nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing - preferred
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license (MA RN license) - REQUIRED
- Recent acute care experience - REQUIRED, preferably ICU, CCU, or strong Medical/Surgical, or 4 years recent (within the past 4 years) Case Management experience
- · CCHC Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDI) Exam
- Knowledge of Medicare Part A and Part B
- Management/supervisory experience - preferred
