Our client, a premier event management company renowned for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and flawless event execution, is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Event Planner & Catering Coordinator to join their fully remote team. This role is essential for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate functions and celebrations. As a Senior Event Planner & Catering Coordinator, you will manage all aspects of event logistics, including client consultations, venue selection, vendor management, menu development, budget oversight, and on-site coordination. You will work closely with our esteemed catering department to design innovative and bespoke culinary experiences that align with event themes and client preferences. Responsibilities include developing detailed event proposals and timelines, negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers, managing event budgets, and ensuring seamless execution on the day of the event. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience in both event planning and catering coordination is crucial. This role requires a proactive approach, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication and client management skills are paramount for success in this remote position. We are looking for an individual who can consistently deliver outstanding events and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events from conception to completion. Conduct client consultations to understand event needs, objectives, and vision. Develop detailed event proposals, including timelines, budgets, and logistical plans. Source and secure appropriate venues, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts. Collaborate closely with the catering team to design creative and appealing menu options. Oversee all aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown. Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability. Provide exceptional client service throughout the planning process and event execution. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during events. Stay current with industry trends in event planning and catering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in event planning and catering coordination. Proven track record of successfully planning and executing a diverse range of events. Strong knowledge of catering operations, menu development, and food service best practices. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in event management software and virtual collaboration tools. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. Demonstrated creativity and a passion for delivering unique event experiences. Experience working in a fully remote environment is a significant plus.
