Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Marketing and Social Media Assistant for our partner organization KindNest, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting pregnant women, new mothers, and families with young children. The Marketing and Social Media Assistant will assist KindNest in building awareness, community engagement, and donor support though digital marketing efforts. The assistant will help create social media content, design graphics, and support online storytelling that highlights the nonprofit’s missions and impact. Job Responsibilities: Create and schedule social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Design digital graphics and visual content using tools such as Canva. Write engaging captions and messaging that communicate the nonprofit’s mission and programs. Assist with updating website content and digital communications. Support marketing campaigns for donation drives, community events, and fundraising initiatives. Monitor engagement and assist with responding to social media messages and comments. Minimum Qualifications: Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program Work study part of financial aid package Students with work study may be prioritized Strong written communication and creativity Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation Basic experience with Canva or similar graphic design tools preferred Interest in nonprofit marketing, communications or digital media Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Learning Outcomes: Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing and communications Develop skills in digital storytelling and mission-driven branding Learn how social media can support nonprofit growth and fundraising Strengthen graphic design, writing, and content creation abilities Build experience managing and analyzing social media engagement Work Schedule: Flexible, remote schedule. Hours coordinated weekly based on student availability and organizational needs. Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. Apply To This Job
