About the position The C2S2 Communications & Development Intern supports digital communications and donor engagement efforts that advance our conservation mission. This is a supervised professional learning experience offering hands-on exposure to nonprofit storytelling, fundraising, audience/donor engagement, and marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Draft content for social media, newsletters, website pages, and donor communications
  • Support donor research and stewardship activities
  • Help create digital or print promotional materials
  • Assist with event communications or logistics when needed
  • Participate in regular team meetings and complete a final internship project Requirements
  • Current student or recent graduate with a field of study related to communications, marketing, nonprofit leadership, conservation, or similar
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be 21 years of age at the start of the internship
  • International applicants must hold a J1 or B1 visa prior to start date (C2S2 does not sponsor visas)
  • Must be able to provide personal laptop/computer and internet access for daily tasks Benefits
  • A $500/month stipend is provided
