Your Day-to-Day

As a Chat-Based Customer Support Agent, you'll be the face of arenaflex, helping users navigate our platform through live chat conversations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing live customer chat conversations through our internal system, using structured response templates and an internal knowledge base to ensure accurate and consistent replies.
  • Troubleshooting account and access issues using approved messaging and tools, and escalating technical or complex questions when necessary.
  • Processing simple updates, such as pausing accounts or applying discount codes, to provide seamless support to our users.
  • Documenting all interactions clearly for team records, ensuring that our knowledge base remains up-to-date and accurate.

What You Need to Get Started

To succeed as a Chat-Based Customer Support Agent, you'll need:

  • A laptop or desktop with Google Chrome installed.
  • High-speed internet (10 Mbps minimum) to ensure seamless communication with our users.
  • A typing speed of 45 WPM or more to efficiently manage live chat conversations.
  • Clear, professional writing in English to communicate effectively with our users.
  • The ability to follow directions and stay focused, even in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Schedule Details

* Starting rate: $25/hour, with the potential to increase to $30-$35/hour after 30 quality-approved shifts.

  • Choose your own hours through our internal scheduling platform, with a minimum of 15 hours per week required to remain active.
  • Shifts are available day and night, weekdays and weekends, to accommodate your lifestyle and preferences.

Training Timeline

* 2-hour onboarding with a step-by-step walkthrough to get you started.

  • Practice chats with support documentation to ensure you're comfortable with our tools and processes.
  • First paid shift reviewed with real-time QA feedback to help you improve and grow.
  • Most agents begin working within 5 days, with ongoing training and support to ensure your success.

Imagine working a Saturday evening shift from 5 PM to 10 PM, handling chats from one customer struggling with login credentials, another requesting a refund, and a third asking for a tutorial link. With our internal chat templates and escalation tools, you'll be able to resolve issues efficiently and effectively, without the stress of phone calls or direct outreach.
