Job Summary

As a Benefits Customer Service Representative, you'll work closely with our account managers, executives, and clients to provide exceptional service, build strong relationships, and drive growth within our organization. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home and in our Wilmington, DE office. Key Responsibilities

* Build and maintain strong relationships with current and future clients, providing expert guidance on benefits-related matters

  • Work closely with account managers and executives to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering timely and accurate information
  • Collaborate with the benefits team to develop and implement client education programs, renewals, and other benefit-related tasks
  • Support the development of new business opportunities, including identifying and pursuing new clients and partnerships
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in employee benefits
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ year of experience in employee benefits, preferably on the brokerage side of the business

  • Strong client service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships
  • Health licensing a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a benefits brokerage or consulting firm

  • Knowledge of benefits administration software and systems
  • Certification in benefits or a related field (e.g., CEBS, CPC, or CLU)
  • Experience with client relationship management (CRM) software and tools

Skills and Competencies

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in employee benefits
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to achieve business objectives

Compensation and Perks
