Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Center Technician to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our IT infrastructure development and maintenance team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers. Your expertise in IT infrastructure, data center operations, and technical documentation will enable you to drive success and make a lasting impact on our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and maintain arenaflex IT infrastructure in a 24/7 environment with rapidly changing priorities while ensuring high availability of the infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support data center operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and implement new solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cabling, hardware rack/stack installations, testing, and troubleshooting using industry-standard data center processes.
  • Assist in the deployment of webpage data center physical infrastructure, including servers, NetDevices, and other equipment.
  • Support the data center inventory and asset management team with shipping/receiving and stock control to ensure high work volumes.
  • Lead through change by bringing clarity, producing energy, and delivering results.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, data center operations, or a related field.
  • Associate's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of physical IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
  • Experience working with macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues using industry-standard tools and techniques.
  • Experience with network protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BICSI Installer I or equivalent certification.
  • Server+, Linux+, Network+, ITIL, or Linux/Unix certification.
  • Experience with Linux command line scripting and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with optical connectivity and cable management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays.
