What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Manage the end-to-end scheduling process for medical evaluations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of requests
- Monitor scheduling queues, proactively coordinating appointments and managing physician availability
- Serve as a liaison between physicians, attorneys, insurance adjusters, and internal teams throughout the scheduling process
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and state regulatory requirements in scheduling activities
- Generate scheduling status updates and support continuous improvement efforts within the department
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3+ years of experience in scheduling, healthcare operations, or a high-volume clinical environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving ability and proactive mindset
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in workers' compensation or medical-legal scheduling environments
- Familiarity with physician scheduling workflows and healthcare compliance requirements
- Experience managing high-volume scheduling queues or complex case coordination
- Exposure to CRM, EMR/EHR, or case management platforms
