Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician I, Data Entry, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing patient data, prescriptions, and other pharmacy-related information. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that all data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

* Accurately and efficiently process patient data, prescriptions, and other pharmacy-related information

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and prescription information
  • Verify patient information, including demographics, insurance, and medication lists
  • Process prescriptions, including filling, labeling, and packaging
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of medications and supplies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
  • Strong foundation in data entry and processing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and pharmacy management systems

  • Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT) or registered pharmacy technician (RPhT)
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
