We're seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Data Science and Engineering group, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient data solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:- Designing and developing data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Developing and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into our data warehouses and data lakes.
- Collaborating with data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to design and develop data solutions that meet business requirements.
- Developing and maintaining data models, data dictionaries, and data governance policies to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Working with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our data solutions in cloud-based environments such as AWS.
- Providing technical guidance and support to our data science and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of data projects.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Big Data and data engineering, and applying this knowledge to improve our data solutions and services.
Key Capabilities
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:- Strong understanding of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with data warehousing and data lake design and development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Scala.
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data governance principles.
- Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering and Big Data technologies.
- Strong understanding of data science and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
