Remote Virtual Event Planner

Our client is seeking a creative and highly organized Remote Virtual Event Planner to conceptualize and execute engaging online events for their hospitality and tourism clientele. This is a fully remote position, requiring exceptional planning, communication, and technical skills. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of virtual events, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and post-event analysis. This includes selecting appropriate virtual event platforms, designing engaging agendas, coordinating speakers and presenters, and managing event logistics. You will work closely with clients to understand their event objectives and translate them into successful virtual experiences. Developing creative concepts for virtual conferences, webinars, product launches, and team-building activities will be a key part of your role. Marketing and promotion strategies for virtual events, including social media campaigns and email outreach, will fall under your purview. Managing attendee registration, communication, and support throughout the event lifecycle is essential. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues that may arise during live events, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants. Post-event reporting, including analyzing attendance data, engagement metrics, and client feedback, will be crucial for evaluating success and identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and executing successful virtual events, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of various virtual event technologies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are vital for collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams. A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Experience in the hospitality and tourism industry is a significant advantage.
