Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service through multiple channels, including phone, email, and chat
  • Serving as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer inquiries
  • Responding to customer requests for information, pricing, and technical support in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including service parts, field service, materials, production, logistics, sales, finance, and management to resolve customer issues
  • Initiating and tracking documentation to authorize and direct work according to customers' contractual obligations
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to standardized order entry processes to ensure 100% accuracy for all orders
  • Building relationships and fostering teamwork with fellow team members, leadership, and individuals within other departments

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of work experience in a customer-facing role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading and math skills, with the ability to adhere to safety-related issues, including good housekeeping, ergonomics practices, documentation, and team concepts
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate knowledge of modern office procedures, including the use of personal computers, fax machines, and copy machines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • PC literacy and experience with ERP systems, such as JDE, SAP, Sales Force, or Genesis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
