Your Responsibilities as a Project Manager:
- Lead a diverse portfolio of Civil Projects
- Develop, manage and maintain project schedules (MS Project)
- Responsible for direct supervision of staff- including training, safety, work quality, time sheets and expenses.
- Ensure safe performance of project work.
- Travel 50% of the time depending on projects.
- BA/BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of proven technical experience.
- Must have working knowledge and experience with civil practices- earth moving, trenching, piping, asphalt and concrete flatwork placement, rebar.
- Must be able to read plans and implement
- Must be able to understand project financials ( GR, NR, CM, GP, DLM) and manage them produce financial metrics included within project bids.
- Must be able to identify change order conditions, manage the scope of changes and build financial costs to implement changes.
- Working knowledge of trench shoring and rigging procedures
- Strong communication skills. Must be able to communicate easily and concisely to clients and Sr. Management the reasons for variances in project status, schedule, budget or staffing.
- Prior experience contributing to business development for new and existing clients.
- Track record of driving Safety and Quality while not sacrificing financials.
- OSHA 40 HAZWOPER, OSHA 10, or OSHA 30 preferred.
- Experience working with MS Office (Excel) and MS Project.
- Experience with Bluebeam and RS Means is a plus.
- Ability to engage and motivate a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
