As a Customer Advocate I at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in providing prompt, accurate, and objective responses to telephone and written inquiries from our members and physicians. Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner

  • Conduct research to resolve complex issues and provide informed solutions
  • Spend approximately 85% of the scheduled time on the phone, interacting with customers and resolving their concerns
  • Utilize strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to build rapport and resolve issues effectively
  • Analyze complex information, make independent decisions, and take ownership of customer issues
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to spend approximately 90% of the scheduled time on the phone, with scheduled breaks to ensure comfort and productivity

Preferred Qualifications:

* 9 months of customer service experience

  • Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Referral preference given to applicants who can meet testing criteria

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in data entry and typing, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
