Key Responsibilities

As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, ensuring that customers receive prompt and effective support
  • Following established communication scripts to handle various topics and provide solutions to customers' needs
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing alternatives to resolve issues
  • Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide support
  • Performing data entry and customer service tasks with precision and attention to detail
  • Navigating online resources efficiently to access information and complete tasks
  • Working with customers to verify their credentials and facilitate their requests for shifts
  • Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to cross-train as needed

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
  • Technical savvy and proficiency in navigating online resources
  • Previous remote work from home experience a plus
  • Quick learning skills and the ability to work independently
  • Accurate typing skills, with a minimum of 35 words per minute
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening abilities
  • A background check that meets state and federal laws

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare-related field or industry
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance
  • Experience with data entry and customer service software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Compensation and Benefits

As a full-time Phone and Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll enjoy:

  • Starting pay of $14/hour, with a shift differential of $1/hour for nights and weekends
  • Possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
  • Paid training for 3 weeks, from 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday (EST)
  • Full-time status with 40 hours per week
  • Opportunities for career growth and professional development

To ensure a seamless and efficient experience, you'll need:

  • A laptop or desktop computer with an Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater processor
  • 8GB of RAM on Windows 8.1/10 64-bit
  • A screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors required
  • A USB headset
  • Up-to-date antivirus software and a recent scan completed
  • A firewall enabled
