About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our customers' technology and data from cyber threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their systems and information. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats and vulnerabilities
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential risks and weaknesses, and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Investigate security breaches and incidents, providing incident response and analysis to minimize downtime and data loss
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the highest level of security and compliance
• Monitor security events and activities for unusual patterns and potential threats, responding promptly to security incidents and providing incident analysis
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into IT projects and ensure seamless implementation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our security posture

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices
• Proven experience as an IT Security Specialist or in a similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of system security principles, practices, and frameworks, including MITRE, CIS, and NIST
• Experience with computer forensics techniques and IT governance frameworks such as ITIL
• Familiarity with Information Security standards and best practices, including Group Policy Objects (GPO) for Windows environments
• Experience with SIEM tools, Microsoft Defender, and Sentinel, with industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ being highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with specialized training in cybersecurity
• Additional industry certifications, such as CEH, CHFI, or CISSP-ISSAP, demonstrating expertise in specific areas of cybersecurity
• Experience with cloud security, containerization, and orchestration, with a strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain, and their applications in cybersecurity
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
