Job Summary

As a Hybrid Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering alpha and numeric data using key-to-disk standalone equipment, PCs, and other data entry terminals. You will work closely with our team to ensure data accuracy and completeness, following standardized procedures and special instructions. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite with the possibility of remote work after training, allowing you to balance your work-life and grow your career in a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Enters alpha and numeric data using key-to-disk standalone equipment, PCs, and other data entry terminals

  • Verifies data by sight and machine for completeness and accuracy
  • Follows a pattern of operations generally standardized, but frequently including rules, expectations, and special instructions, which demand close attention
  • Maintains good working knowledge of the operation of data entry devices and numerous applications, job formats, and system commands
  • Collaborates with the team to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Adheres to blithequark's quality standards and procedures

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry software

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with data entry software and systems

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT)
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance
  • Experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment
  • Certification in medical coding or data entry (e.g., CPC, CCA)
