Role Summary

As a General Warehouse Laborer, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, managing raw materials, and ensuring the efficient production and packaging of products. This contract-to-hire position is available for 6 months, with the potential for long-term career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment, including filling, capping, sealing, labeling, and packaging products
• Move raw materials to the production line and remove damaged products or supplies as needed
• Conduct production, package, and flavor changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production processes
• Perform product inspection processes and basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
• Conduct minor repairs to keep production equipment running efficiently
• Lift, carry, and push/pull cases weighing 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over a long work period
• Stoop, crawl, and crouch over and under conveyors as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to good housekeeping practices
• Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations, and expedite repairs to the line in collaboration with maintenance
• Work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere, collaborating with colleagues to achieve production goals

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure product inspection processes
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, and push/pull cases weighing 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over a long work period
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Reliable and team-oriented, with a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving production goals

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and equipment maintenance
• Certifications or training in a related field, such as OSHA or forklift operation
