Key Responsibilities

  • Issue Resolution: Assist members with questions and concerns related to their health insurance plans, claims, and benefits, striving for first-call resolution and escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed.
  • Documentation and Accuracy: Process and document customer interactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of data quality and adhering to Aetna's policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on Aetna's policies, procedures, and product offerings, demonstrating a deep understanding of the company's services and solutions.
  • Professionalism and Empathy: Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with customers, providing personalized support and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience is a plus, particularly in the health care or insurance industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and team members.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex issues and provide creative solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems and navigating through software applications, with experience in customer relationship management (CRM) tools and software.
