Job Summary

As a CAD Engineer – Timing for Transistor-Level Circuit Design and Verification, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and supporting the systems, flows, and tools necessary to verify semiconductor-level circuits in the areas of timing, signal integrity, and circuit validation. You will work closely with digital and analog designers to ensure that their designs meet functionality, timing, electrical, power, and signal integrity objectives. Key Responsibilities

* Define, implement, and support the systems, flows, and tools necessary to verify semiconductor-level circuits in the areas of timing, signal integrity, and circuit validation

• Work closely with digital and analog designers to ensure that their designs meet functionality, timing, electrical, power, and signal integrity objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timing, power, signal integrity, and functional validation efforts
• Perform in-depth analysis of timing methodologies to identify key areas of improvement
• Develop and maintain documentation and help with rules/specs
• Troubleshoot tool issues and limitations with design teams
• Develop and maintain flows, contents, and approaches for semiconductor-level analysis

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with timing, STA, CAD/CAE, advanced design, and related courses
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, Python, TCL, or similar
• Familiarity with semiconductor-level devices such as NanoTime, PathMill, HSPICE
• Knowledge of advanced custom circuit design including dynamic circuit methods and memories along with Zest models and netlists
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly describe issues and follow them through to resolution

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• Experience with semiconductor-level design and verification tools
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
