Job Summary
As an Experienced Data Analyst, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and insights, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business growth. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and tools, including SQL Server, Teradata, and Prophet, and will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute existing reporting and analytical tasks (30%)
- Utilize data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests (20%)
- Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating a keen attention to detail (20%)
- Foster additional technical skills and domain expertise within the core functional team (20%)
- Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall business strategy (10%)
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as software engineering, mathematics, computer science, or economics
- 2 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, reporting, and forecasting
- Previous direct experience in examining the relevant domain (e.g., supply chain, marketing, operations)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Proficiency in SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or similar database management systems
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a quantitative field
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling
- Certification in data science or analytics
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Work Environment
* Work will be performed in a comfortable indoor setting, with occasional opportunities to move about and interact with colleagues
- Travel requirements are minimal, with less than 10% of time spent on the road
